FERST Founder

I started FERST Online Academy to give another level of protection for people in Australian workplaces by turning emergency compliance into real capability.

Under the WHS Act 2011 and Australian Standards such as AS 3745 and AS 4083, organisations must plan for emergencies, train their people and prove that those arrangements are current. For years, FERST has delivered face-to-face warden training, evacuation diagrams and emergency plans onsite across Australia. We saw the same problems repeated: new wardens with no structured induction, inconsistent training across multiple sites, and leaders struggling to evidence compliance.

FERST Online Academy was created an additional tool to help solve those issues.

The Academy gives WHS managers, Facility Managers and EPC/ECO leaders a central, standards-aligned online hub where they can:

  • Induct and refresh wardens and key staff on demand

  • Standardise emergency training across different sites and shifts

  • Blend online learning with drills and face-to-face training
